Acerca de The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast

An exploration of the failures inherent in the societal constructs of success, intellect and wealth, and a discussion of the SKWealthAcademy expansion of these definitions to include emotional IQ, love, compassion, happiness, physical health and exercise, meditation and mindfulness. To understand the divergent pathways we take in life dependent upon our views of success, intellect and wealth, we discuss the constructs of school v. education, critical thinking, divergent thinking, rebellion against the norm, confirmation bias, cognitive dissonance, the spread of anti-social social media applications, and sound money v. digital money. Finally we discuss, the need to escape and live outside of these pre-engineered societal constructs into which all of us are born if we wish to realize our creative potential to create a world in which love, compassion, and respect for all life, including nature, prevails, and one in which a beautiful life is not a privilege for the 1% but a human right for

Rebooting and Updating Society’s Definition of Success | the tao of skwealthacademy podcast, episode_026

In episode_026, I provide a free sample of one of the two podcasts I release every month to my patron subscribers. In this episode, I discuss how the very definition of the word success has become a highly processed concept that may still be high in calories but low and near completely deficient in mental and psychological nutritional content. The concept of success as defined by nearly everyone in society is not a construct in which the pursuit of success will help bridge understanding among people, build community and a heightened state of cooperation or be of benefit to humanity in general. In order for us to reach our creative potential and to find our life purpose we must completely reconstruct how we perceive the societal construct of "success". Drawing Back the Veil on Universal Truth | the tao of skwealthacademy podcast, epi_025

In today’s The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, Episode_25, I discuss the problems of our global institutional academic system that allow me to have more rational discussions with a young child and well-rounded martial artists than adults with advanced academic degrees. I discuss why children that have not yet been processed through the academic system are much more open minded than adults that have earned Bachelor and Master degrees, and why philosophical elements of the martial arts of being, knowing and doing promote critical thinking to a greater capacity than exists in general society. I also explore why sound money principles are so widely misunderstood today with even self-proclaimed sound money advocates forwarding a lot of misinformation about sound money on social media. I also discuss why basic facts like the color of the sky, the color of a polar bear's fur and the definition of gravity are still widely misunderstood in the modern world and I discuss why the inability of many in society to have disagreements with others in a civil discourse without engaging in angry ad hominem attacks is a sign of the downfall of intelligent civilization.  Finally, as I forgot to provide my financial tip of the day in this podcast, my patrons know that predicted BTC's top price to be $20,000 (it was) at the end of 2017, and that it would be halved in price to $10,000 at that point (it was). After BTC dropped to $10,000, my patrons know that I predicted BTC could be halved in price a second time to $5,000 (it was, and actually fell below this mark to $3,000). With BTC at about $3,750 a couple of weeks ago, there is a far better chance, if it hits $4,000, that it will drop to $1,000 before it will rise back to $10,000 in price, in my opinion. What Question Did a NYC Teacher of the Year Winner Say He Was Shocked that Parents Never Asked Him? the tao of skwealthacademy podcast, epi_024

In today’s The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, Episode_24, I discuss the motivating factors behind my creation of skwealthacademy, its launch timeline, and my hopes to create a global community with the common goal of improving many educational aspects that have been nearly universally stripped from the academic institution and classrooms worldwide today. As well I discuss what question a NY City Teacher of the Year winner said he was shocked to hear asked of him only one time by a parent in his decades of teaching. (Correction: In my podcast I mistakenly stated that this NYC teacher was John Gatto, but it was actually NYC teacher Frank McCourt, the Pulitzer Prize winning author of Angela's Ashes.) Are Our Lives Driven by a Preponderance of Irrationality? | the tao of skwealthacademy podcast, epi_023

In today’s The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, Episode_23, titled, “Are Our Lives Driven By Irrational Thoughts, Irrational Behavior and Irrational Decisions?” I discuss how we are being increasingly driven towards conflict by those in power that have deceived us into accepting feelings and opinions as indisputable facts at alarmingly high rates. Carl Sagan said, “We can judge our progress by the courage of our questions and the depth of our answers , our willingness to embrace what is true rather than what feels good.” What is truly amazing is that he said this back in 1995, and he didn’t even foresee the influence of social media and the consequent mob mentality on our beliefs back then. Had he foreseen the widespread use of facebook, instagram, and twitter upon our beliefs, he may have lost all hope for humanity. In today’s podcast, I discuss how we can self-identify the irrational beliefs that drive us towards conflict, anger, and unhappiness and restore intellect, rationality, critical thought and happiness in our lives.
