S1, E4 - In the beginning: The creation of the world in Genesis 1

Today's episode starts in on the storyline of Genesis 1 and what it tells us about how God created the world. Through it, we'll see evidence of who He is and his original purpose for the creation. We will also learn what makes the Genesis creation account unique by comparing it with other ancient creation myths. Instead of multiple attempts at creation or conflict that brings about the creation, we will see how reality responds to God's mere word, and that He creates order and structure out of nothing. Finally, we'll explore the concept of the "ciruit of beneficence"—that nature is built on the principle of selfless giving, and that God built this principle into nature to teach us more of who He is and what He is like

S1, E3 - The Waiting Game

Couldn't God have finished this conflict early by just wiping out Satan? That's how we tend to resolve conflict: show them who's stronger. In this episode of "The War and the Way" we're going to see that God's tactics are not like ours, because love and force can't exist together, and knowing the truth of someone is only a matter of letting time reveal them for who they really are... S1, E2 - "How you have fallen..."

How does a perfect being become the accuser? In this episode we will begin looking at what actually triggered the war, starting with the person that we identified as the dragon or Satan in our last episode. Through the evidence found in Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28, we will examine the rise and fall of the being who was the "covering cherub", and how a desire to climb higher ultimately brought him low.

S1, E1 - "And war broke out in heaven..."

War doesn't start with a single shot. It starts when growing tensions bubble over into conflict, and the war in our story is no different. In this episode of "The War and the Way" we're going to examine the sides in the war and begin asking some important questions that will help us understand who they are and what all of this war is about.
