The Way Church Iloilo
Part six of “Names of God” focuses on Ehyeh/Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh (“I Am That I Am”), citing Exodus 33:19 and connecting it to Jesus’ “I am” declarations, including John 18 where His words cause the arresting party to fall. Ps. Ryan explains God’s names as covenant “signatures,” emphasizing God’s self-existent nature and His choice to enter human need. Jesus is presented as the bread of life and light of the world, like the burning bush that was not consumed, and believers as carriers of God’s fire through the Holy Spirit (Acts 2). “Glory” (kavod) is taught as weight, illustrated through gravity, relativity, and black holes to show God’s irresistible pull and His ability to see the end from the beginning. ——— Join us for our Sunday services at 10 AM and 4 PM. You'll experience uplifting worship, practical and biblical teaching, and a welcoming community. Come as you are and be a part of something bigger than yourself. We can't wait to worship with you! When we give to the church, we honor God and support its ministry. Giving a tenth of our income, or tithing, is a biblical principle that helps those in need and furthers God's work.
