To start, let me tell you how I got the name "Nikki." Growing up, I was a huge fan of the iconic rapper and songwriter, Nicki Minaj. Her music and vibrant personality always resonated with me, inspiring me to embrace my own uniqueness and confidence. I admired her ability to break barriers and be unapologetically herself. In honor of that admiration, I adopted the name "Nikki," which has since become an integral part of my identity. ## The Story Behind My Twins Now, onto another significant chapter of my life—my twins. Becoming a parent to twins has been one of the most rewarding and challenging experiences of my life. The journey started with a mix of excitement and anxiety when I found out I was expecting not one, but two little ones. I remember the day I received the news vividly—it was a whirlwind of emotions! I was originally born in Burundi, East Africa, but spent much of my pre-teen years in Uganda. So, don't be surprised if I have tales from both beautiful countries! Professionally, I have a background in health care aid and medical office administration, which has given me a unique perspective on the world around me. Balancing Motherhood and Passion Being a mother of three, including a ten-year-old and a set of boy-girl twins, certainly keeps life bustling. You might wonder how I find the time to host this podcast amidst the whirlwind of parenting. The truth is, I believe there is always a time for everything.
