Interestingly, these principles find a vivid parallel in the Brazilian soccer team’s concept of “Jogo Bonito”—a beautiful game where players work seamlessly together, allowing individuals to shine when the opportunity arises.

Both the book and the TV show explore the concept of free will through a complex narrative involving parallel universes and the consequences of protagonist Jason Dessen’s choices.
