These Virtual Beings are vulnerable for manipulation.

Interestingly, these principles find a vivid parallel in the Brazilian soccer team’s concept of “Jogo Bonito”—a beautiful game where players work seamlessly together, allowing individuals to shine when the opportunity arises.

Having read Blake Crouch’s novel “Dark Matter” some years ago, it was interesting to see the series on Apple+ now. Both the book and the TV show explore the concept of free will through a complex narrative involving parallel universes and the consequences of protagonist Jason Dessen’s choices. The story illustrates why free will means taking responsibility for one’s actions.
