Dr. Ron Oberstein has served as President of Life Chiropractic College West since 2017. Prior to becoming the president of Life West, Dr. Oberstein practiced in San Deigo and was a member of the Life Chiropractic College West Board of Regents from 1991 to 2016, including two years as the Chairman of the Board.  As an active member of the chiropractic community, Dr. Oberstein has served in leadership roles in numerous organizations, most recently as Chair of the Association of Chiropractic Colleges.  He has taught chiropractic technique, philosophy, and principles in multiple chiropractic colleges and globally. Dr. Oberstein and his wife of 30 years, Dr. Mary, have practiced together since 1986, serving multitudes of patients and mentoring hundreds of new graduates. They have three daughters, Drs. Lauren, Morgan and Sydney, all of whom are chiropractors. Dr. Oberstein graduated from Life Chiropractic College (now Life University) in 1981. Chris Chippendale Chris is a second-generation chiropractor and graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2011. He runs 2 clinics with a team of 8 DC’s and 4 massage therapists just outside of London, UK. He founded Patient Centred Training in 2017 to provide quality post-graduate education for chiropractors and other healthcare practitioners.  Chris has lectured internationally on patient-centred communication and is a guest lecturer at both London South Bank and Teeside Universities for chiropractic undergraduates.  He is a fellow and lead tutor with the Royal College of Chiropractors and a member of their PRT Council and Specialist Pain Faculty. He has helped develop the College’s PRT communication skills training and their Communication Skills Quality Standard. In 2022 he was awarded the British Chiropractic Association’s “Chiropractors Chiropractor” award for his services to the profession.
