Prepare 9 x 13 pan, preheat oven, and mix cake according to the cake mix directions, adding in the coconut extract and 3 ounces of coconut. Pour batter into prepared pan, bake according to the directions. 2. While cake is cooking, heat 2 cups of milk with 3/4 cup sugar until sugar is dissolved. Pour over the top of the cake as soon as it comes out of the oven. Cool completely.
