Week 8 (May 31): Two Kingdoms, Two Adams: The Reign of  Grace  Romans 5:12-21  This week confronts the little g gods of self-rule, human progress, and the belief  that humanity can ultimately fix itself. Paul steps back to explain the deeper  story behind sin and salvation. Through Adam, sin and death entered the world  and spread to every person, placing humanity under the rule of condemnation.  The message will explore how Jesus comes as the second Adam, reversing what  the first Adam unleashed. Where Adam’s disobedience brought sin and death, Christ’s obedience brings righteousness and life. Paul’s conclusion is that grace  does more than forgive individual sins. It establishes a new reign. This passage  calls the church to recognize that every person ultimately belongs to one of two  kingdoms, and only the reign of Christ leads to true life.

Week 7 (May 24): Peace With God: The Results of Justification Romans 5:1-11  This week confronts the little g gods of striving, insecurity, and the fear that our  standing with God depends on our performance. Paul explains what changes  when a person is justified by faith. Hostility with God is replaced by peace,  distance by access to grace, and uncertainty by confident hope.  The message will explore how the gospel reshapes the believer’s view of  suffering. Trials are no longer signs that God has abandoned us but instruments  He uses to form endurance, character, and hope. The cross stands as the  ultimate proof of God’s love, given while we were still sinners and enemies. This  passage calls the church to stop living anxiously before God and instead stand  securely in the grace Christ has already secured.

Week 6 (May 17): Faith Before the Law: Abraham’s Example Romans 4  This week confronts the little g gods of spiritual pedigree, religious identity, and  inherited faith. Long before circumcision or the  giving of the law, Abraham was declared righteous because he believed God’s  promise.  The message will explore what genuine faith looks like. Abraham trusted God  when circumstances made the promise seem impossible, believing that God  could bring life out of what appeared dead. His story shows that belonging to  God’s people has always been defined by trust in God, not by checking religious  boxes or family background. This passage calls believers to move beyond  inherited religion and cultivate the same resilient faith that rests confidently in  God’s promises.

How Christian Civilization Forgot What It Was Fighting For  This installment shifts inward to examine the internal collapse of the West.  Theologically, it explores what happens when nations forget God and embrace  neutrality as a false ideal. Historically, it traces the rise of secularism, relativism, and  historical amnesia.  The session argues that Islam did not fundamentally change, but the West did. Modern  application examines how abandoned borders, fractured identity, and moral confusion  created conditions for Islamification without invasion.
