Ep. 33: "The Price of Peace" with Doron Keidar
🎙️ JCZC Podcast | Ep. 33
The Price of Peace with Doron Keidar
🔥 THE COST OF DEALS WITH IRAN* 🔥
What happens when the world's leading powers negotiate with a regime accused of sponsoring terror, suppressing its own people, and fueling instability across the Middle East?
This powerful conversation pulls back the curtain—and the consequences may be far greater than most people realize.
Simeon Myers sits down with Doron Keidar for a raw and uncompromising discussion about terrorism, Western foreign policy, and the high price of compromising with evil.
This is not politics as usual.
🇮🇱 **LIFE UNDER CONSTANT THREAT**
Doron shares the reality of growing up in northern Israel under the shadow of Hezbollah and Iranian-backed terror.
Missile sirens.
Bomb shelters.
Daily uncertainty.
For millions of Israelis, these are not headlines—they are facts of life.
But the threat doesn't stop at Israel's borders.
🌍 **THE IRAN DEAL: PEACE OR PERIL?**
The discussion examines how diplomatic agreements with Iran may strengthen the regime while empowering its regional proxies.
According to Doron, every concession carries consequences.
Every deal sends a message.
And those consequences are often paid by ordinary people—both in Israel and inside Iran itself.
⚠️ **THE REGIME VS. THE PEOPLE**
One of the episode's most striking themes is the distinction between the Iranian regime and the Iranian people.
While politicians negotiate with Tehran, countless Iranians continue to suffer under oppression, censorship, and persecution.
The question raised throughout the conversation:
Who actually benefits from these deals?
🌍 **THE GLOBAL NETWORK OF INFLUENCE**
The conversation explores the broader ecosystem of influence surrounding Iran, including the roles of Qatar, the Muslim Brotherhood, and Islamist movements operating across the region and beyond.
These connections, Doron argues, are often overlooked despite their growing impact on Western institutions and policy debates.
✝️ **A CLASH OF VALUES**
At its core, this episode asks a deeper question:
What happens when societies lose confidence in the values that built them?
From biblical principles to questions of morality, justice, and national identity, the discussion examines whether the West is facing more than a geopolitical challenge—and whether it is confronting a spiritual one as well.
📖 **WHAT HISTORY TEACHES**
History repeatedly asks the same question:
Can peace be secured by empowering dangerous regimes?
The conversation revisits past examples, current events, and the lessons that many believe are being ignored today.
⚠️ **THIS IS MORE THAN A MIDDLE EAST ISSUE**
According to Doron, Israel's struggle is not isolated.
It is connected to larger questions about freedom, truth, civilization, and the future direction of the West itself.
The stakes are higher than most people realize.
