Interview: Anna Filimonova and the International Outdoor Painting Festival.

I'm delighted to have you join me for this special episode in which I welcome a guest who is dear to me and whose work I greatly admire. We are joined by Anna Filimonova,  a renowned international painter and the founder of the International Outdoor Large-Format Painting Festival. This event is dedicated to celebrating plein air painting.  This year, the 8th édition of the festival will take place from 27th to 30th August in the beautiful town of Les Andelys, in Normandy, bringing together artists from different backgrounds to share their passion and creativity.  For this interview, we are under the glass roof of the Grand Palais, in Paris.

Why ?

The podcast "Welcome To My Studio" is celebrating its first anniversary! And for this special episode, I wanted to revisit the reasons behind its creation. While in the first episodes I discussed my artistic approach in parallel with art history, I never really explained why I had followed this path. That's exactly what we're going to explore in this episode!
