This podcast features health coaching tips to strengthen the mind, body and spirit for the anxiety driven moms with neurodivergent littles. With my experience as an integrative nutrition health coach and as a former anxiety driven mom myself, I understand and experience daily the hardships of raising a little who experiences anxiety, depression, PTSD and a disorder. Today’s podcast is about the foundation of The Neurodivergent Mom coach. I share the reason why I became inspired to create this podcast. I will also share my health coaching tip to build resilience and strength that will ignite your soul! It’s time to take back your lives. The journey to self care begins now. ... So why am I considering myself as a neurodivergent? I am not a normal mom, I don’t consider myself to have a standard way of thinking and I sure as heck am always thinking and experiencing outside the box moments. Partially from my former anxiety driven self and now because I have come to find out that the anxiety came from being a highly sensitive person or HSP. What is a HSP you ask?! Let me enlighten you! Resilient souls, for the longest time I lived with anxiety. But it was never because of my little. It was because of myself. And in the back of my mind I did think that her struggles were too much for me. I’m not going to lie. The therapy sessions, the pickiness of food, school, my personal schooling. Somewhere down this road of pity I had built for myself I began to lose who I was. And I began to think that she needed more. More therapies, more toys, more games, more going out. I got burned out. I burned myself out to exhaustion and despair. I low key hit depression. ... Since her diagnosis at 3 each year thereafter it's like she began to accumulate more and more anxiety, she experienced depression and even PTSD. And I missed the signs. Thank my creator that I found IIN (Integrative Institute of Nutrition). My journey as a health coach really helped me truly and completely change from the person I thought I was to actually living up to the person I had been wanting to be. Because I began to finally practice true self Care. I began to fully nourish myself not just through Nutrition but through the entire aspect of my healthy state of being. A mind body and spirit connection. I addressed my anxiety to the point of creating a different outcome to what was once my usual. My usual anxiety driven day started to become less and less stressful. And that led me to step out of the same loop or same situations to create new outcomes. ... You know somewhere along the way we begin to unintentionally mother our children to be just like us. This is partially not our fault as we are fighting against generations of trauma, unexpressed emotions and horrible communication. However, it is vital to first accept who we are so that we can work on ourselves to become creators of change. Creators of intent and differences for ourselves and for our littles.
