Hee Jung is the Chief Executive Officer of SK Chemicals America, where he leads the chemical business across North and South America with a strong emphasis on green chemical initiatives and the Earth Care program. He's successfully expanded the team's portfolio to include copolyester, adhesives, coatings, polymers, bio-based products, and recycled materials.
Concurrently, as VP of the Global Innovation Center at SK Gas USA, Hee drives sustainability and global business expansion for all SK discovery operating companies. He's broadened the investment thesis to encompass Property tech and Deep tech alongside Climate tech, making both direct and indirect investments.
Before his current leadership roles, Hee excelled as a Corporate Venture Capitalist, focusing on strategic investments in Cleantech, renewables, and sustainable energy. His extensive background in the oil & energy industry as an Interface Manager equipped him with robust skills in negotiation, project management, risk management, and procurement. Hee's strong foundation in program and project management is rooted in a BS in Business (Business Process Management) and Math from Indiana University Bloomington.
