What’s the Evidence?
Kate Cohen-Maher is a PhD candidate studying the psychology of sport retirement. Her dissertation focuses on the development of a set of interactive modules that will equip NCAA and elite athletes to transition to life after sport. In this episode we discuss specific strategies revolving around identity, social support, career and more that current athletes, former athletes, coaches and staff can use to allow for success in the chapters following competition. In addition to her work in sport psychology, Kate is a professional powerlifter and performance coach with Juggernaut Training Systems.
