Disappointment? Regret? Torment? How do these affect living at peace in your mind? As we've discussed in previous episodes, the peace of God is available to us, but there are tactics we must use as Christians to fight against the chaos of the age for the peace of God in our lives. Disappointment is death-dealing if you just let it go. When you face disappointment, recognize disappointment, and deal with disappointment in a productive way, you will be enabled by the power of the Holy Spirit to settle the issue and move forward in freedom. In this episode, join father-son duo Dale and Joel Evrist, as they discuss the tactic of dealing with disappointment as a weapon God has given you to live at peace in your mind, thriving in your relationship with the Lord and with others. Why is forgiveness necessary for living at peace in our minds? The peace of God is available to us, but there are tactics we must use as Christians to fight against the chaos of the age for the peace of God in our lives. The inheritance for the Christian is a life of peace, even when we have been wronged by others. As believers, we have been completely forgiven in Christ. As we offer to others what Christ freely gave to us, we will experience a mind at peace. In this episode, join father-son duo Dale and Joel Evrist, as they discuss the tactic of forgiveness as a weapon God has given to us to delight ourselves in an abundance of peace. Scripture references to help you go to war for peace in your mind: * Matthew 18:21-22 * Psalm 37:3-6 * Ephesians 4:31-32 Recommended resources from this episode: * Total Forgiveness by R.T. Going to War for Peace in Your Mind, Part 3 / EP 18

How can you conquer anxiety? Anxiety is never going to subside until it's subdued, so we must attack anxiety in order to conquer it! The good news is that the inheritance for the Christian is a life of peace, even in trial and difficulty. Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (John 14:27) The peace of God is available to us, but there are tactics we must use as Christians to fight against the chaos of the age for the peace of God in our lives. Anything that Jesus has given us, we're going to have to defend against the world, the flesh and the devil. The peace of God is our possession, but it must be defended if we're going to possess it in the way God intends. Join us as father-son duo, Dale and Joel Evrist, discuss strategies and tactics to conquer anxiety as you go to war for peace in your mind. Scripture references to help you go to war for peace in your mind: * Philippians 4:6 * Philippians 4:13 * Matthew 6:34 * Ephesians 6:13 * Ephesians 6:12 * 2 Timothy 4:7 * Numbers 13+14 * Psalm 131 * 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17 * Proverbs 18:21 To support this ministry, visit lifereachresources.com [https://www.lifereachresources.com/] or newsongnashville.com [https://www.newsongnashville.com/] and click the "give" tab to help us continue to bring Bible-based content to you and others around the world.
