Inflection Point

In this episode of Youth on Rewind, join the spring 2026 podcast production interns in exploring moments of inflection. These are times of dynamic change, and we all face them; maybe it's a graduation, a break-up, or a move to a new city. Regardless of the specifics, inflection points are a natural occurrence for each of us. We'll dive in deeper to some of these moments with reflections from Pilar Hernandez, Peter Tito, and Leo Rael. We will also hear personal narratives from producers Carlos Perez and Sofia Young. All of these youth voices, captained by our host Audrey Brittain, investigate the factors that make inflection points such prominent moments in our lives. A Youth on Record Ars Poetica (It's Poetry Month)

In this episode of Youth on Rewind, host Godwin Amouzou looks to answer the question "How do you write a poem?" In a world full of noise and mundanity, finding the inspiration to create takes focus, but what do you focus on? By showcasing the poems written and recited by Youth on Record participants, Godwin shows us that even the simplest things can be — and should be — poetic. Tune in for stories by poets and producers like Devonte Parker, Danny Acree, and Akello Stallings, and stick around until the end to hear Godwin's own YOR Ars Poetica. Happy poetry month! To Be a Woman (Abridged)

In this episode of Youth on Rewind, host Sofia Young walks us through some aspects of her own femininity, all while exploring the question of "What is womanhood?" This question is further examined within the context of the feminine identity of our ancestors, our peers, and the generations to come. Throughout this episode, you'll hear personal experiences of womanhood from young folks in the Future of Femme program, educational soundbites from the current Podcast Production Interns, and an interview with a female aerospace engineer. episode Black Enough artwork

Black Enough

In this episode of Youth on Rewind, host Miah Edwards explores a time when she asked herself, "Am I Black enough?" This impossible question opens a dialogue about how we define Blackness, and what problematic limitations a single definition of a pluralistic identity can bring. The episode includes additional perspectives and reflections from producers Godwin Amouzou, Jasenia Sutherlin, and Akello Stallings. These stories examine both physical and ideological facets of Blackness, as well as the ways those are subverted every day. This all begs the question, is there such a thing as "Black enough?" episode The Power of Play artwork

The Power of Play

In this episode of Youth on Rewind, host Chris Fazzari explores what we gain and what we lose as we grow older, starting with the simple question of when we stopped being allowed to play. From dolphin names to doodling, the episode challenges the idea that silliness and joy are things we’re supposed to age out of. Through personal reflection and contributions from former interns Mars Williams and Godwin Amouzou, this episode makes a case for play as a vital, lifelong practice. The Power of Play invites listeners to resist “shoulds,” stay weird, and remember that maturity doesn’t have to mean giving up fun.
