The Sound of the Trowel

In Mark 13:24–31, Jesus describes days when the sun is darkened, the moon does not give its light, the stars fall, and the powers of heaven are shaken. Yet the focus of the passage is not chaos, but Christ. Pastor Andy Lake explains that when things get dark, believers are called to be hopeful — not because circumstances are easy, but because Jesus is coming. This sermon reminds believers that hope is not found in systems, routines, people, stability, or visible circumstances. Hope is found in the person of Jesus Christ.
