His sound roots trace back to tribal and techno, shaped by early influences like Chus & Ceballos, Victor Calderone, and Nicole Moudaber. After a hiatus, JCruz returned with sharper focus and a heavier, more refined identity—now rooted in modern tech house, pulling inspiration from artists like Westend, Mau P, Odd Mob, and Deeper Purpose. Since his return to production, JCruz has made immediate impact, landing 10 releases in the Top 10 of Beatport’s Tech House and Bass House chart, 8 of those landing in top 5 and two hitting #1 spots on the Bass House Top 100. His momentum continues to build, driven by a sound that’s both underground and undeniably effective on the dance floor.
