This is part 2 of our conversation with Tristan and Sorcha recorded on Sunday September 14th 2025 in Australia and Portugal. This conversation explores the dynamics of parenting, focusing on the messages of superiority that boys receive and the long-term consequences of such upbringing. We emphasise the need for parents to process their own emotions to effectively guide their children, highlighting the role of education in fostering emotional growth. In today’s episode, we’ll be diving into the idea of principled parenting—and how the beliefs we hold as parents, especially the unloving ones, can deeply affect our children, limiting their potential and shaping their futures in harmful ways. We’ll be talking about the mis-education that happens when we stray from God’s principles, and exploring the true actions of Truth, Love, Humility, and Faith.  We’ll also look at how our own unresolved injuries as parents often cause our children to misbehave, and how the sacrifices we make—giving up our passions, our time, even our individuality—can actually create inequality that damages our children in the long run.  Eloisa gives some great tips and also speaks more in depth on the restriction process.  It’s a powerful and eye-opening conversation, one that invites us to reflect deeply on how we raise our children, and how we can instead guide them in love, truth, and humility.
