What is burnout? What does is look like for artists? Does it even exist? I think its pretty easy to feel burnt out as an artist because of the entrepreneurial aspects of creative careers. Its also all too easy to fall into the tortured artist identity, and that can take a toll on our spirits. Creativity requires being vulnerable and sensitive, which can be exhausting overtime. For me its the chronic search for new projects in order to sustain my income. Im just tired of waking up every day and hustling for every dollar.
