Over Home Is Where The Body Is

Hi, I’m Jenn. I’m AuDHD and live with cPTSD, OCD, Ehlers Danlos syndrome, and POTS. I grew up in a religious cult and spent years searching for love and belonging. I eventually learned the home I was seeking wasn’t a place or another person, but a relationship with my body, nervous system, and myself. In this podcast, I share lived experiences of trauma, inner child care, and learning to give myself safety. I’m not a mental health professional, just a very marginalized engineer offering reflection and companionship. Content warnings provided.

Coercive Dependency: The Real Reason You're Blamed for Needing Support

I talk about: * What is coercive dependency and why it's not your fault (00:55) * The burning frustration of being required to contort (14:35) * Separating needing support from being at fault (24:06) This episode is created from an unedited writing fragment on my blog.
