Over In the Spirit of

When coming up with this podcast, we were heavily influenced by our company’s mission statement, ”to fight for the good in the world by telling stories that matter.” As we were developing this idea, we felt that there were so many people in our area who have a fierce spirit that drives them. One paraphrased quote that encapsulates the people we aspire to interview is, ”People here hate oppression. They demand justice and fair play. They value people for their personal worth. They believe in the equality of human rights and in the ability of the people to govern themselves. These are the qualities that define our people’s spirit.” We value the impact the human spirit has when it is inspired to create change in the world it is in, and we believe that incredible things are influencing and taking shape all around us. On this podcast, you can expect to hear the stories, the adversities, and the change that humans from the heartland are leading. These stories: from large, public organizational leaders to small private yet powerful undercurrents in our communities, are all of immense importance. We think you will find these conversations to be meaningful, and we are so glad to have you be a part of them.
