Well, Armageddon on the Coast kept Patti away from the mic, but the moms were able to get together over the Thanksgiving holiday to recap the mid-terms and the other dramas in their lives. Mega-Mom is there, too!

Are we sentimental for the movies of our high school and college days? When we look at the sexism that was rampant in the media of the eighties, we gotta say, "not so much." Disclaimer, we may have combined "Pretty in Pink" and "Sixteen Candles" in our heads when we were talking about Ducky...the good guy that gets overlooked. Also, we dig into the psychology of conservative moms who think their sons are afraid of women and are willing to declare it on social media.

The meaning of "feminine" is in flux, but the meaning of "feminist" continues to be about equality...and the need for persistance and resistance has never been in starker relief. Don't worry, we won't rehash the hearings, but we will talk about how important it is to join the choir of voices fighting together for justice and equality. Been depressed lateley? If you're a woman, it may be because the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh is a reminder of how far women still have to go before we are valued as equal citizens with equaly rights. Even those of us who consider ourselves feminists may have viewed the world in a different way back in the last century when Monica Lewinsky became the focus of a political firestorm.
