A child can become highly skilled naturally while remaining spiritually weak, easily influenced, fearful, identity-confused, and disconnected from truth. That's how we hear so many stories from parents who don't understand how their kids went off the rails in their teen and college years.
Somewhere along the way, many homes unintentionally shifted from raising disciples to raising performers.
Busy schedules replaced deep conversations.
Achievements replaced discipleship.
Entertainment replaced meditation on truth.
But Scripture reminds us the chief end of man is not worldly success — it is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
This episode is a loving but convicting call back to intentional parenting:
not merely raising accomplished children…
but raising children deeply rooted in the Word, able to recognize the tactics of the enemy, hear the voice of God, and stand firm in truth no matter what culture says.
Because if our children gain every natural advantage but never learn to walk with God, we have missed the most important thing.
