Social media has a funny way of circling back and reminding us of things. Things we used to say, do, believe, represent… or at least pretend to. Today we both reflect on our own evolutions, and share how we came to be the men that we are today. It’s crazy how cringeworthy your own content can seem just a year removed. But don’t be ashamed, don’t let it get you down. Learn from it, and realize that you would NOT be the magnificent person you are today had that not happened. We all evolve. E9 Work With The Right People, Not All The People | Find A Niche To Find Success

We’ve all heard the phrase before. “You can’t please everyone.” And yet no matter how many times we hear it, we still try. It could be in your family, trying to make sure everyone gets equal attention around the holidays. Also in your business, especially if you’re trying to serve everyone and not your niche market. It could even be internally. Perhaps you don’t prioritize and you try to go all-in on every possible thing you do. The outcomes are all the same. Your efficiency and quality diminishes, and you get burnt out or exhausted. If this frequently happens to you, STOP. Reverse engineer the intended outcome, find out what it takes to get there, and then decide if it’s even worth it. E8 Success Doesn’t Have To Be Hard | Stop Making Yourself The Victim

Too often we put up our own roadblocks on the way to success. We tell ourselves it’s too hard, we aren’t qualified, or we just don’t have the time or resources. We create these excuses before ever really making any attempts and without even knowing it we become our own worst enemy. It’s all about perspective. “Success” doesn’t have to be hard. You don’t have to climb your Mount Everest every single day. As long as you are moving in the right direction, and not hindering progress with excuses, you are being successful. Heck, even “failing” at something should be considered a success as long as you learn from it and apply that new knowledge and experience. E7 Person vs Persona | Stop Asking For Permission To Be Yourself

Do you ever feel like you need to ask permission to be your true self? Do you feel like you need to hide at least a portion of yourself, your passion, or your enthusiasm and live a filtered life? If you are having a constant internal battle between yourself as a person and the persona you feel like you need to be… STOP. Don’t ask for permission, just do it. Don’t share just the highlight reel, share everything. Be you, the real you. Stop fabricating a life that truly isn’t yours and just be you! You ARE qualified! You ARE good enough! If we don’t make a plan, we end up wherever life takes us.  It seems obvious, but it’s how the world works. Creating goals allows us to build toward something and keep constant track of our progress.  It also allows us to be held accountable for our actions. So how can we utilize goals to find what each of us deem success? By becoming brutally self aware.  Once we become self aware, everything else makes sense moving forward.
