I wanted to get this episode released sooner but with having hand surgery, the pain and medication didn't agree with smelling and tasting the nuances of supreme whiskey and bourbon. Episode #3: What comes first and goes into new oak barrels?

What goes into new oak barrels? What might tasting it do for us? What I found out is that it tastes just as good but the charred oak makes it taste even better over time. And that is how we get bourbon and whiskey. Come on a bit of a porch journey with me and taste the white dog (new make). The stuff off the still before it goes into a barrel.
