Over Warren Church

Warren is a community of believers surrendered to the authority of Jesus Christ and dedicated to advancing the gospel together in our neighborhoods and around the world as we make disciples and multiply disciple-makers. At Warren, we are about a way of life that embraces the following core values described in Acts 2:42-47. The Christian faith is not only highly individual in application, it is highly relational in practice. We were made for communion with God and to live in community with others. The church is the community made up of those who confess Jesus is Lord and unite for worship, care, ministry and service. At Warren, we value and expect each member to share and grow in community with other believers

aflevering Isaiah: Here I Am, Send Me! artwork

Isaiah: Here I Am, Send Me!

This sermon centers on the call to wholehearted obedience to God, using Isaiah’s response—“Here I am, send me”—as the model for every believer. It emphasizes that many Christians are willing to worship and engage emotionally, but often hesitate when it comes to actually stepping into God’s mission, highlighting that the real issue is not lack of opportunity but lack of obedience. The speaker stresses that every follower of Jesus is “sent,” meaning there is no opt-out from living on mission, regardless of life stage or circumstance. Ultimately, the message challenges the church to continue its legacy of sending people and urges individuals to simply say “yes” to God, trusting that obedience leads to purpose and transformation.

aflevering Abraham: Here I Am in Surrender artwork

Abraham: Here I Am in Surrender

This sermon emphasizes that God’s mission is central to the entire Bible: He calls people to Himself and then sends them out with purpose to share His message of reconciliation. Using Abraham as the primary example, it highlights how God’s covenant, promises, and redemptive plan unfold through history—ultimately leading to Jesus as the Savior provided for a broken world. It also stresses that every believer is an “ambassador for Christ,” called to live with intentional mission, not just personal faith, and to respond with complete surrender like Abraham’s “Here I am.” The message challenges listeners to trust God beyond their doubts and fears, recognizing that obedience and availability matter more than personal ability. Finally, the sermon connects God’s historical promises to present-day realities, urging a biblical worldview and calling believers to actively participate in God’s ongoing mission with faith, surrender, and readiness.
