There will be a time when people will look to you as an expert in the field of education. It hasn’t happened yet, but it will. This podcast is meant to help you find your way during those first few years of teaching. We’ll talk with experienced teachers to find practical ways for you to tackle the early part of your teaching career. We’ll give you some inspiration to keep you going. We’ll make it okay to make a few mistakes so that you can learn from them and become the teacher you want to be. Because you’re not a great teacher. YET.

Episode 2 is about office politics. One of the scariest things about your first teaching job is that sometimes it's the first "real" job you've ever had. You've probably had a job before but a real job. Forgetting to put onions on the quarter pounder at your job is one thing but forgetting to turn in your grades at your real job is something different. Your teaching job is more important to you so messing up can feel more embarrassing. And suddenly all the social interactions you have with co-workers might feel more awkward.
