[Bonus Ep] Is There A 'Right Way' To Do Your 20s?

Our first ever bonus episode! In this one, I'm answering your dilemmas on how to survive (and even potentially thrive) in your 20s. I hope you love it! As I said in the episode, let me know what you think of this new format! I want it to be our space for discussing article recommendations, diving into things that have happened that week, answering dilemmas, unpacking responses to episodes. I want to make it as useful as possible for you! + DILEMMA SUBMISSION If you'd like to submit any dilemmas to the podcast to be answered in the bonus episodes, please send them to podcast@grace-beverley.com with the subject beginning DILEMMAS! + MY LINKS: https://gracebeverley.komi.io/ + RETROGRADE, SHREDDY, TALA and THE PRODUCTIVITY METHOD are my own businesses, therefore any mention of them - whilst not being a sponsorship - is monetarily endorsed. As usual, sponsorships do not change my opinions nor my honesty, but I will always disclaim to make sure motives are clear 😊 ---------------------------------------- Hosted on Acast. Ep. 134 How To Trust Your Judgement & Learn To Say No With House of CB's Conna Walker

We're back!! And we've had a little spruce up. Before I get into this description, first agenda point is: follow @workinghardpod on Instagram! We're here: https://www.instagram.com/workinghardpod/ As part of this relaunch I wanted to create a space for everyone who listens and watches our podcast that is super inspiring & brings value to your feed. We’ve got lots of exciting plans, including a huge giveaway (which I haven’t mentioned anywhere but here, so you’re first to know). What a full circle it was to record with Conna when we were both in LA. This is the definition of an unfiltered founder to founder chat. We really got into it. Goal setting, life plans, business growth, boundaries. I loved recording it so much, I hope you enjoy watching it too. Also, what do we think of the new music? Let me know in the comments if you're listening on Spotify. + CHAPTERS 1:43: Introduction 19:30: Balancing evolution & trends 24:40: How to trust your judgement 29:20: How to navigate trends 31:00: How to find your brand DNA 36:05: People stealing her designs 39:30: Producing their products 42:15: Finding manufacturers at the start 45:15: The biggest mistakes she's made 46:38: Her tips for leadership 49:44: Conna's typical day 58:59: Why 'No' is her favourite word 1:03:50: Advice on building your dream life 1:12:05: Why Conna's not a goal person 1:14:35: The best piece of advice she's received + MY LINKS: https://gracebeverley.komi.io/ + CONNA'S LINKS House of CB: https://app.houseofcb.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/connawalker/?hl=en + RETROGRADE, SHREDDY, TALA and THE PRODUCTIVITY METHOD are my own businesses, therefore any mention of them - whilst not being a sponsorship - is monetarily endorsed. Ep. 133 Why Our 20s Are So Confusing And Guide On How To Tackle Them With Jemma Sbeg [From The Archives]

I hope you’re having a great week so far. We’re currently on a little podcast break at Working Hard, Hardly Working whilst we work on something hugely exciting which is coming very soon and I focus on opening the first ever TALA store which I still cannot believe is happening! But you know I would never leave you without inspiring content on a monday morning! So I’ve picked my absolute favourite episodes from the nearly 130 we’ve released. Today's is with the gorgeous Jemma Sbeg, host of The Psychology of Your 20s! Jemma is someone everyone in their twenties needs. Her podcast The Psychology of Your 20s, was one of the 20 most listened to podcasts in the WORLD last year, and she started it as a hobby whilst working her 80+ hour a week corporate job. I’ll be totally clear with you, my aim going into this episode was to get as much advice from Jemma as physically possible, to make it a guide to owning and understanding what is arguably the most confusing decade of our lives. We covered everything from finding your dream job, to comparison, to moving to a new city and so much more.  + JEMMA'S LINKS: The Psychology Of Your 20s: https://www.psychologyofyour20s.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thatpsychologypodcast/?hl=en Personal IG: https://www.instagram.com/jemmasbeg/?hl=en + MY LINKS: https://gracebeverley.komi.io/ + SHREDDY, TALA and THE PRODUCTIVITY METHOD are my own brands, therefore any mention of them - whilst not being a sponsorship - is monetarily endorsed. But you know I would never leave you without inspiring content on a monday morning! So I’ve picked my absolute favourite episodes from the nearly 130 we’ve released. Today's is with Google UK Chief Debbie Weinstein. Debbie has not only been a trailblazer in the digital and tech industries, but she’s also someone who has continuously pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in the corporate world. I wanted this episode to be a manual for exactly how to build your dream corporate career, we get into the weeds of what it takes to get ahead, the key difference with high performers, the art of being a good manager, and generally how to navigate the complexities of the corporate world. + DEBBIE'S LINKS LinkedIn: https://uk.linkedin.com/in/debbie-w-62b2a44 + MY LINKS: https://gracebeverley.komi.io/ + SHREDDY, TALA and THE PRODUCTIVITY METHOD are my own brands, therefore any mention of them - whilst not being a sponsorship - is monetarily endorsed. Ep. 131 The Secret To Consistent Motivation & Achieving The Extraordinary With Professor John Amaechi [From The Archives]

Today's is with the man with the most soothing voice in the world (who also happens to be a world renowned psychologist) Professor John Amaechi. Not only is he an Organisational Psychologist, an OBE, a New York Times Bestselling Author, a Fellow of the Institute of Science and Technology, a Professor of Leadership, a non-executive director of an FTSE 250 company and the founder of organisational psychology consultancy APS.  He was also, more surprisingly, the first Briton to play professional basketball in the NBA league, a move which saw him leave his hometown of Stockport for the world of professional basketball aged just 18. And whilst playing, he was the first NBA player to come out as gay. Never afraid to stand up and speak out, his book made me question a lot of things I thought I knew about myself and the way I live and work.  + JOHN'S LINKS: LinkedIn: https://uk.linkedin.com/in/amaechi Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/johnamaechiobe/?hl=en APS: https://www.apsintel.com/ + MY LINKS: https://gracebeverley.komi.io/ + SHREDDY, TALA and THE PRODUCTIVITY METHOD are my own brands, therefore any mention of them - whilst not being a sponsorship - is monetarily endorsed.
