In this special episode of Beyond the Bell, Ms. Arzt and Mr. Pina provide a brief overview of what Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) looks like in schools and what the school community should understand about the process. The conversation focuses on how the State defines HIB, common characteristics of HIB situations, and a general outline of how schools respond when concerns are raised. This episode is intended to offer clarity and transparency around the inner workings of the HIB process. As a reminder, this is not an exhaustive explanation of every scenario or outcome.
