Beskrivelse

Hello from Dr Caron Post, Dr. Perrin Elisha, and special guest - Ed Harold We are going to introduce a model for emotional resilience that rests on the mind-body connection and on the relational connections between us. This includes the science of the nervous system, specifically poly-vagal theory. We’ll provide just enough knowledge of the nervous system so that you can understand that the “brain” is actually a system of energy and information that extends through our bodies-- not just in our head. We'll share a model for how our nervous systems, which are a psychosomatic (mind/body) experience, are always co-regulating with others, and why we need to understand and embrace this to build emotional resilience. While these times are enormously stressful, the silver lining is that if we can rise to this moment we can actually become better people and build skills that we need at all times.
