Emotional Resilience in the Pandemic

Emotional Resilience in the Pandemic

Podkast av Dr. Caron Post

Dr. Post and Dr. Elisha speak with each other and Deborah Pardes, host, about developing community and tools for emotional resilience in times of change and uncertainty. We are bringing you the most current understandings of interpersonal neurobiology, trauma, the mind-body connection, the transmission of intergenerational trauma, the neuroscience of resilience, eco-psychology, intersectionality, many things we didn’t understand scientifically 10 years ago. Into this soup we also add other ingredients - the science of breath, yoga, mindfulness, psychoanalysis, and buddhist psychology.

Emotional Resilience - Hello August 2020 - We are breathing together!

Hello from Dr Caron Post, Dr. Perrin Elisha, and special guest - Ed Harold We are going to introduce a model for emotional resilience that rests on the mind-body connection and on the relational connections between us. This includes the science of the nervous system, specifically poly-vagal theory. We’ll provide just enough knowledge of the nervous system so that you can understand that the “brain” is actually a system of energy and information that extends through our bodies-- not just in our head. We'll share a model for how our nervous systems, which are a psychosomatic (mind/body) experience, are always co-regulating with others, and why we need to understand and embrace this to build emotional resilience. While these times are enormously stressful, the silver lining is that if we can rise to this moment we can actually become better people and build skills that we need at all times.

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
