Recap: Summer House, S10 Reunion 3

The final reunion for the splintered cast of Summer House ends with a thud as Amanda and West continue to give cryptic and conflicting answers to direct questions. The timeline still doesn't add up, the excuses still fall flat, and the reactions are still beta-blocked. However, the thing that remains clear is the devastating effect their affair has had on a group of people who truly believed they had established a supportive community. Recap: RHORI S1E11 Stay Clam and Carry On

In the aftermath of the fight between Liz and JoEllen, the group splinters into factions. On one side, JoEllen has been painted as a villain, either for her choice to defend Alicia or for alerting Rulla about her cheating husband. On the other side, we see women who hope for peaceful resolution, and somewhere in the middle, Ashley and Jared are still talking about Audreys. Liz and Alicia heal their rift, but Liz's fight with JoEllen has yet to be resolved. Rulla's Arabian Nights party provides Rosie with the opportunity to tell Rulla about the existence of a video showing her cheating husband doing what he does best, all as Alicia appears to almost faint from stress at her side. Rant and Recap: Summer House Reunion Part 2 and RHORI S1E10

First, a rant about the cowardly behavior and shocking scandal revealed in the Summer House Reunion Part 2. A scandal that continues to leave the world wondering how so many beautiful women got involved with the same mediocre little mustached man. Then, we get into another unhinged episode of Real Housewives of Rhode Island where Alicia's choice of words to describe her childhood, and JoEllen's attempt to play mediator, triggers Liz so much that she devolves into a possessed state. A chill evening to watch Rosie's husband do his best at singing turns into dinner theater and a soundtrack over whispered fighting, hair pulling, and chair scraping. Events that, in the aftermath, Liz denies ever occurred, leaving JoEllen (and everyone watching) feeling confused and gaslit.
