Welcome back to another episode of Pretty Haunted. Have you ever wondered how much a haunted doll is worth? Well don’t worry because this week is all about dolls… some haunted and some not. I’m taking us all the way back to a time when children played with dolls, and none of the adults around seemed to have a second thought that there might be more than meets the eye with these kids toys. The good news is that there is some psychological reason behind our uneasiness around dolls… the bad news is that it might actually just be in our heads. Some dolls may have reputations on their own, while Hollywood certainly didn’t do anything to help the growing consciousness around the seemingly ordinary doll sitting in your grandparents house. This week we’re diving into two of the most infamous locations in England, both known for not only for the chilling paranormal activity visitors experience but also for horrific and tragic events that many believe are behind the activity. First we’re visiting the Ancient Ram Inn where mediums have been levitated, skeletal remains indicate ritual sacrifices and lustful demonic entities await the next overnight guest. We wrap up at the most haunted castle in England… Chillingham Castle. While known to be the residence of over 100 ghostly entities, the history of this castle may have you running before you even get near the front door. This week we’re stopping by two of the most haunted locations in England… The High Gate Cemetery is a location that Victorians dreamed of being buried at and where the legend of a vampire is rumored to stalk the gravesites. The Borley Rectory may not be standing anymore, but the chilling tales from this former house still linger to this day, as do some of the spirits.
