Let's Go To Church

In today's episode my good friend Dalton joins us as we discuss local Church gatherings. What is the local Church? Should you consider being connected to a local congregation? If so, why? Today we look at the practical implications of a local Church congregation. Below are some scripture references to establish the biblical foundation of why churches function the way that they do. However in this episode we look at the practical relevance of church attendance and how it incorporates with The Church at large. Hebrews 10:24-25 and 13:17, Ezra 8:1-8, Acts 2:44-47 and 5:32-35, James 5:14-16, 1 Timothy 3 and 5:17-22, Titus 1:5-9, James 2, 1 Corinthians 11 and 14. These are a few scriptures that highlight the Bible's specific influence in what you see in Churches across the globe today. Much of the same style of gathering and format used today in modern Church congregations dates back to the 1st century Church and even the synagogues and gatherings that preceded Christ. This is an ancient practice in general. episode Approaching Life Rationally, Logically, and Coherently cover

Approaching Life Rationally, Logically, and Coherently

Shouldn't we approach any endeavor we set out for rationally and logically? If we are going to invest our emotions, time, and energy into something, shouldn't it ultimately make sense? Shouldn't the pieces of our philosophical framework be coherent? Can all of these boxes be checked even in terms of religion? Shouldn't we feel a sense of urgency to check these boxes in regards to the most influential person of all time, even if we think it is all a myth? Today we scratch the surface on some of these questions and prod a little bit to see. Below are a couple of links that tie into today's topic.   This video is part of a live Q&A with author and former devout Muslim Nabeel Qureshi on March 22, 2015 at Christ Community Chapel.: //www.youtube.com/watch?v=xGQ_5rSBwIQ Lee Strobel spent two years of his life studying, researching, learning everything he could in order to disprove the resurrection and deity of Christ.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67uj2qvQi_k

Introducing The Show and Generally Defining What The Bible Is Not

In today's episode Sammie is giving a run down of what this podcast is and the direction it is intended to go. We also discuss some easy ways to deal with the questions that come up about the bible in everyday life. Below are a few links that relate to today's subject matter though these were not used as direct sources for today's content. I tried to doctor the audio and fix the issue, which I was able to reasonably accomplish. However, the first half of the audio does not flow the way it was recorded. We see where the mistake was made and should not have the issue in the future. Thank You.)

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
