I thought I knew what love was. Turns out, I didn't know shit. 😂 I've been in love more than once, and let me tell you...they were not all the same. Some of it was amazing. Some of it was completely fucked up. Some of it I probably should've walked away from a lot sooner. And somehow, I wouldn't take any of it back. Because love is fucking wild. Loving is living. What makes us fall in love? Why do we get so attached to certain people? And why is it sometimes so damn hard to let them go? I have some stories. 😂

#60: How I Don't Lose My Shit

People ask me all the time how I stay so calm. The truth? I don't always. In this episode, I'm talking about what I actually do when life starts coming at me iin every direction. A fight with a man, family drama, stress, disappointment, bad news, things not going my way... I still get triggered. I just handle it different than I used to. It's about getting through life without letting every emotion getting in the way , yet truly living.

Maybe I was supposed to hate myself? It seems like people would be more comfortable if I was sitting here telling you I don't feel good about myself. I don't feel beautiful. I don't feel enough. F$ck that. Apparently, for some reason, it seems to trigger people if you feel good about yourself. And honestly, I struggled with sharing this one. It feels a little too personal. Do i really want people to know this? But when I listened back, I knew it had meaning . I knew it had truth. And maybe that's why I should share it.

Love is beautiful and Love can be painful. I've been thinking a lot about love lately because, honestly, right now it feels a little painful to me. I was listening to a song the other day, and he said when you are 95 or 100 years old , you're not going to look back and wish you had a bigger house, a nicer car , or made more money. You're going to wish you spent more time with the people you love. He also said the hardest and best memories of our lives come from our relationships. That really resonated with me. Honestly, it is easier to be alone. But are we growing? Are we challenging ourselves? Are we experiencing everything life has to offer? So in this episode I am rambling about love, relationships, expectations, and the importance of following your own path instead of somebody else's. Because your life doesn't have to look like anyone else's to be exactly right for you.
