Les mer The Peoples Assembly

The People's Assembly Podcast - fortnightly news, interviews and music from the anti austerity movement. Produced and presented by Jordan Reyne for the People's Assembly Against Austerity. About Us The People's Assembly Against Austerity are a UK based national campaign against austerity, cuts and privatisation in our workplaces, community and welfare services. We oppose all proposals to “solve” the UK crisis by discrimination or scapegoating on grounds of disability, race, religion, ethnic origin, nationality, gender, age, sexual orientation or identity. We aren't linked to a political party. Our goal is to support, encourage, coordinate joint action, and share information and experiences. What We Do. Aside from our news-based podcast, we organise newsletters, meetings, conferences, lobbies, rallies, marches, demonstrations and other events. We liaise closely with similar movements in other countries resisting austerity measures. We encourages a wider debate on how to protect the welfare state and develop an alternative programme for economic and social recovery. About Our Podcast We know that many of you who support the People's Assembly are time poor. Part of how austerity works is too keep us all too busy to fight for change - and too busy to keep track of how we will be effected by new and proposed laws. Our new podcast hopes to tackle both of these things. We want to make it easier for you to keep up with the most important stories, and easier for you to be part of the People's Assembly - even when your schedule is brutal and prevents you from physically being there. So once a fortnight, we are putting out a podcast of leading news and interviews in easy to manage 15 - 20 minute chunks. Subscribing to the podcast via Patreon also gives you the opportunity to support what we do for as little as £3.80/ $5 US a month. Those subscribing through Patreon get additional rewards too - a free music download with each podcast, access to extended interviews, a 2 day jump on people who don't subscribe, and the chance to have your picture on the podcast cover artwork. Most importantly, you have the knowledge that you are directly supporting our actions, rallies and question times in happening - even if you can't be there in person. Head to https://www.patreon.com/PAAA and become a supporter to get the podcast early with extras. In doing so, you are contributing to the fight against austerity in the UK, and worldwide.

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
