Beskrivelse

In Let Go of the Fear, guest speaker Lee Grady teaches how to confront the fear that keeps us from fully following and obeying Jesus. Through Paul and Timothy’s discipleship relationship, Lee shows how fear, insecurity, and timidity could have prevented Timothy from accepting God’s assignment. Yet God had not given Timothy a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Lee shares five practical ways to confront fear: stop overthinking, don’t isolate, limit social media, share your heart, and find peace in prayer. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, believers can receive healing, boldness, and peace as they open every area of their lives to God. Let go of the fear, receive the peace of Jesus, and freely say yes to His calling. The Roads Church - https://theroads.church

The Wilderness: Choosing Jesus in the Dry Places | Mona DeVous

What do you do when you don't feel close to God? In this message, Mona DeVous teaches from Psalm 63 and reminds us that every believer will experience seasons of wilderness. These dry places are not meant to drive us away from God but are opportunities to seek Him more deeply, depend on His Word, and grow in our relationship with Him. Looking at the lives of David, Israel, and Jesus, Mona shows that the wilderness reveals what is in our hearts, teaches us dependence on God, and calls us to choose His truth over our feelings. When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, He answered every temptation with God's Word. We are challenged to do the same. Mona also reminds us that God never intended us to walk through difficult seasons alone. As the family of God, we are called to encourage one another, speak truth in love, and stay connected rather than isolate ourselves. Whether you're in a wilderness season today or preparing for one in the future, this message will encourage you to keep seeking Jesus, trust His promises, and choose Him again and again. "When we don't feel Him, we especially need to read the Word." The Roads Church - https://theroads.church

Spiritual Authority: Sons & Daughters - Faith Over Feelings | Chad Everett

In this message from the Spiritual Authority: Sons & Daughters series, Chad Everett teaches from Galatians 3 on what it means to live by faith instead of feelings. As sons and daughters of God, our identity is not based on emotional highs, personal performance, religious works, or how close to God we may feel in a moment. Our identity is secured through faith in Jesus Christ. Chad reminds us that God is building a family, not simply an organization people attend. Through faith in Christ, we become sons and daughters of God and receive the promises of God. Like Abraham, who believed God and was counted righteous, believers are called to trust what God has said above what they feel. This message challenges the religious mindset that tries to earn sonship through obedience or spiritual performance. Obedience matters, but it flows from our position as sons and daughters; it does not earn that position. Jesus has redeemed us from the curse of the law, and through His blood, we are invited to stop striving, stop performing, and believe. This is a call to authentic faith. Emotional expression is not wrong, but feelings cannot become the foundation of our relationship with God. Whether we feel strong or weak, close or distant, worthy or unworthy, the truth remains the same: sons and daughters live by faith in Jesus Christ. “Both our position as sons and daughters and our possession of the promises come through faith. Our righteousness is not based on what we feel or what we earn. Our righteousness is based on what we believe.” — Chad Everett The Roads Church - https://theroads.church

The Lord Is My Shepherd — Knowing and Trusting the Good Shepherd | Promise Bradley

How do you respond when God leads you somewhere you didn't expect? What happens when following Jesus requires you to surrender your plans, trust His timing, and believe He knows the way even when you don't? In this message, Promise Bradley opens Psalm 23 and John 10 to reveal the heart of the Good Shepherd. David didn't simply know about God. He knew Him personally as "my Shepherd." Through these familiar passages, Promise reminds us that Jesus still leads His people today, speaks to His sheep, and invites us to know Him, trust Him, and faithfully follow wherever He leads. The Christian life is learning to know the Good Shepherd so deeply that we trust Him enough to follow wherever He leads. Throughout the message, Promise shows that Jesus is not only the Shepherd who comforts us, but the Shepherd who leads us on paths of righteousness. Those paths are not always easy, but they always lead us closer to Him. She reminds us that His sheep hear His voice, and that believers can learn to recognize His leading through Scripture, prayer, and the Holy Spirit. Using the lives of Abraham, Sarah, Peter, and the older brother in Jesus' parable, Promise shows how easily we try to control people, circumstances, timing, and outcomes instead of trusting the Shepherd who already knows the way. One of the central challenges of the message is this: "We have to trust the Shepherd. We have to let go of control." Whether you're walking through uncertainty, learning to hear God's voice, or struggling to trust God's plan, this message will encourage you to know the Good Shepherd more deeply and follow Him with confidence. If this message encouraged you, be sure to like this video, subscribe to our channel, and share it with someone who needs to be reminded that the Good Shepherd is faithful to lead, restore, and redeem. Church Is A Family | Spiritual Authority: Restored In Christ - Sons & Daughters | Chad Everett

In this message from the Spiritual Authority: Restored In Christ – Sons & Daughters series, Chad Everett teaches how sons and daughters of God receive everything He has provided through faith. Teaching from Galatians 3, Chad explores the biblical concept of lambano—to receive, take hold of, or possess what has already been provided. Salvation, righteousness, miracles, and every promise of God begin with His grace, not our performance. God is the provider; we are the possessors. Faith does not convince God to provide. Faith enables us to receive what He has already made available through Jesus Christ. From this foundation, Chad shows that faith does more than connect us to God—it makes us sons and daughters in His family. Chad also references a message by Banning Liebscher that helped frame the contrast between seeing the church as an organization or restaurant versus seeing it as a family. Because we belong to the same Father, we are called to function as a Family of Faith. The church was never intended to operate like a restaurant where people simply attend, consume, and leave disconnected. It is a family where believers serve one another, encourage one another, disciple one another, and help one another grow in Christ. Using the illustration of a restaurant versus a family gathering, Chad challenges believers to move beyond a consumer mindset. A restaurant exists to serve customers, but a family thrives when everyone contributes. Instead of asking, “What can I get from church?” sons and daughters begin asking, “Who does God want me to serve, encourage, and minister to?” This message invites believers to receive by faith what God has provided by grace and to live as active members of the family of God. As sons and daughters through faith, we are called to become a Family of Faith that serves, connects, matures, and grows together in relationship with Jesus.
