episode Consider Your Ways: The Temple God Wants to Build | Chris Pollard cover

Consider Your Ways: The Temple God Wants to Build | Chris Pollard

In Consider Your Ways: The Temple God Wants to Build, Chris Pollard brings a timely word from Haggai 1 that calls the church to wake up, examine our ways, and return to what matters most. The hour is late. This is not the time for comfort, compromise, distraction, deception, or delay. God is calling His people to build again, not just outwardly, but inwardly. He is looking for a living temple where His Spirit can dwell, take pleasure, and be glorified. Haggai 1 confronts the people of God with a sobering question: while our own lives are being carefully maintained, has the house of the Lord been neglected? Today, that question reaches beyond buildings and into the heart of every believer. Is my life a temple where God is pleased to dwell? Is my obedience delayed? Has my focus drifted? Have I allowed the patterns of this world to shape my mind more than the truth of God’s Word? God is not merely looking for performance, platforms, or external appearance. He is building people. He is calling His church to come out of spiritual apathy and become fully surrendered, Spirit-led, and renewed in truth. The enemy’s pattern is clear: culture influences, the mind becomes conformed, the heart begins to drift, and obedience gets delayed. But the kingdom pattern is stronger: truth enters in, the mind is renewed, the Spirit leads, and the life is transformed. This is a call to stop postponing obedience. It is a call to come out of comfort and compromise, reject passivity and spiritual drift, and consider your ways before the Lord. God is building something in His people, and now is the time to respond. While listening, allow the Holy Spirit to awaken fresh surrender, renewed obedience, and a deeper commitment to become the temple God is pleased to dwell in. episode Familiar Light, Forgotten Responsibility | Justin Younger | The Roads Church cover

Familiar Light, Forgotten Responsibility | Justin Younger | The Roads Church

If you've heard this your whole life and you know it, then why aren't you doing it? Many believers know the words of Jesus: "You are the light of the world." We've heard the scripture, memorized the verses, and learned the lessons. Yet knowing the truth and living the truth are not the same thing. In this message, Justin Younger challenges us to move beyond familiarity and examine whether the light of Christ is truly shining through every area of our lives. Because Christ lives in us, we are called to be His light in a dark world. There is no mixture between light and darkness, and every believer has been called to be a witness, not just with words, but through the way we live. From our homes and families to our workplaces and daily relationships, our lives are constantly pointing people toward either the light of Christ or the darkness of this world. The answer to darkness is not complaining about it - it is allowing the light of Jesus to shine brighter through us. This message is a call to personal responsibility, spiritual examination, and renewed intimacy with Jesus. If you've heard these scriptures your whole life, the question remains: What are you doing with what you know? The Roads Church - https://theroads.church

episode Sons & Daughters - Spiritual Authority: Restored In Christ | Chad Everett cover

Sons & Daughters - Spiritual Authority: Restored In Christ | Chad Everett

Who are you in Christ? In this message from the Spiritual Authority: Restored In Christ series, Chad Everett teaches from Galatians 3 about identity, faith, grace, and spiritual authority. Before believers can walk in authority, they must first understand who they are as sons and daughters of God. Paul asks the Galatians a challenging question: "Who has bewitched you?" As deceptive voices, cultural pressures, and persuasive ideas compete for our attention, believers are called to stay anchored in the truth of God's Word and the finished work of Jesus Christ. Discover why sonship is received through faith—not earned through performance—and learn how living from the Spirit brings freedom, peace, and confidence in your relationship with God. If you've ever struggled with striving, insecurity, condemnation, or trying to earn God's approval, this message is a powerful reminder that your identity is found in Christ alone. "Knowing who He is and who we are in Him is the key factor for knowing our spiritual authority." The Roads Church - https://theroads.church

episode Each Has a Work and a Fire | Chad Everett | The Roads Church cover

Each Has a Work and a Fire | Chad Everett | The Roads Church

In this message from the Spiritual Authority Restored In Christ sermon series, Chad Everett teaches that every believer has been given both a God-given assignment and the fire of the Holy Spirit to fulfill it. As Jesus spoke in Mark 13 about His return, He also revealed how His followers are meant to live until that day comes: take heed, watch, pray, and remain faithful to the work He has entrusted to them. This Pentecost Sunday message explores the connection between the believer’s purpose, spiritual authority, and the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit. Chad explains that the fire of God is not merely emotion or enthusiasm, but the person of the Holy Spirit working within believers to guide, strengthen, comfort, and purify them for the work of the Kingdom. Throughout the sermon, the call is clear: don’t become distracted by lesser storylines, cultural confusion, fear, or personal ambition. Instead, stay focused on Jesus, stay awake spiritually, and remain committed to the Father’s business. Every follower of Christ has a purpose, and Jesus has given both authority and fire to accomplish it. This message also challenges believers to remain in the refining process of God. The fire of the Holy Spirit not only empowers ministry, but also exposes and purifies areas of fear, pride, insecurity, and flesh so believers can be conformed into the image of Christ. The goal is not simply to begin well, but to finish faithfully. The Roads Church - https://theroads.church

episode More Than Predicting a Date, Knowing a Man | Chad Everett cover

More Than Predicting a Date, Knowing a Man | Chad Everett

In this message from the Spiritual Authority: Restored In Christ sermon series, Chad Everett walks through Mark 13, the biblical feasts, and the prophetic story line of Scripture to reveal a powerful truth: the goal of prophecy is not merely predicting a date — it is knowing Jesus. Jesus warned His followers about deception, distraction, wars, fear, and spiritual confusion in the last days. Yet throughout His teaching, the focus was never fear. The focus was readiness, endurance, and relationship with Him. This sermon explores how the biblical feasts in Leviticus 23 point directly to Jesus Christ — from His crucifixion and resurrection to the possibility of His future return. Chad also explains the imagery of the Jewish bridegroom and bride, revealing how believers are called to prepare themselves for the return of Christ. More than understanding prophecy, this message calls believers to: stay focused on Jesus, discern the season spiritually, preach the gospel boldly, and live ready for His return. “The gospel is not about predicting a date so we can just have some knowledge, but knowing a man.” The Roads Church - https://theroads.church
