Coach Porter is the Head Coach of the Francis Marion University women's basketball program. Porter is a 1991 graduate of Liberty University, where she earned a B.S. degree in psychology. She garnered first-team All-Big South Conference honors as a senior and was twice named her squad’s most valuable player. Knight was drafted by the Los Angeles  Sparks in the second round of the 2016  WNBA draft. In September 2016, Knight signed with  Spartak Moscow Region. In February 2017,  Knight was signed by the Atlanta Dream  to a training camp contract. In September 2, 2016, Knight was signed  by the San Antonio Stars for the remainder of the season.
