Or you might recognize it from his own show, The Radically Genuine Podcast, which ranks in the top 2% of downloads worldwide Dr. McFillin is a clinical psychologist and a writer, who devoted his 20 year career to providing care for adults and adolescents struggling with depression, eating disorders, PTSD, and suicidal behavior, and has also become deeply disillusioned with the mental health system in this country, particularly its connection the pharmaceutical industry, which has led to what he believes is the rampant overprescription of ineffective — and often dangerous — psychotropic drugs.
