Understanding how to spot the signs of labour exploitation is crucial. But equally important is knowing how to report your concerns and the information that the GLAA and partners are looking for when you make that call. In the first part of this episode Justine Currell from the Modern Slavery and Exploitation Helpline explains what the helpline does, how it can help people, what they do with your information and how to contact the helpline if you need advice or help. Job scams are sadly extremely prevalent in the current job market. During the COVID-19 pandemic, almost three in four jobseekers (74%) applied for jobs that were not genuine.
