For high-achieving women who've built impressive lives that no longer fit. Hosted by Jamella Waller, former VP of Operations and mom of four, this show is about building a life that can actually hold who you're becoming. Not just getting through the week. Each episode goes deep on capacity, identity, decision-making, and the systems that support real transformation. If your life looks great on the outside but feels like something's missing, you're in the right place. New episodes weekly.

episode You don’t have a consistency problem cover

You don’t have a consistency problem

You've started the journal. The morning routine. The app. And for about 12 days, it felt like this time was different. Then you missed one day. And instead of picking it back up, your brain said "you already blew it" — and the whole thing quietly disappeared. You've probably told yourself you're not consistent. That you lack discipline. That something is wrong with you because you can run an entire department but you can't keep a morning routine past two weeks. Nothing is wrong with you. You've been building systems with only one version — the perfect version. And perfection has an expiration date. It's usually about 12 days. In this episode, I'm breaking down The Start-Stop Cycle — the real reason capable women quit things that are actually working — and the system I built to finally break it. In this episode: * Why the things you keep quitting were actually working (and why you stopped anyway) * The difference between a consistency problem and a perfection problem — and why it matters * The three-version framework: full, scaled, and minimum (all three count) * The 70% Standard: why imperfect consistency beats perfect consistency that quits * The re-entry rule that breaks the Monday Reset cycle for good * The 30-Day Lock: how to make a new system hold long enough to become structural Get the tool from this episode: The 30-Day Lock System — the three-version framework, the re-entry rule for missed days, and a daily two-minute check-in. episode I kept changing everything and nothing changed cover

I kept changing everything and nothing changed

Every January I had a plan. New morning routine. New workout. New goals. New energy. And every February, it was already fading. Not because I was lazy. Not because I did not want it. Because I kept trying to build something new on top of a life that was already at capacity. It is like renovating a house while the plumbing is leaking. You can paint the walls all you want but the real problem is underneath. It took me way too long to realize I was skipping the most important step. In this episode, I get into all of it — the cycle, the skip, and what actually made the difference. In this episode: * Why I kept starting over every January and every Monday for years and nothing ever stuck * The step nobody talks about because there is no dopamine hit and nobody claps for you * What stabilizing actually looked like in my life — clearing physical space, going after the 47 mental tabs, and cleaning up the digital clutter I did not realize was draining me * How I went from about 100 mental tabs to 20 and what that felt like * The doctor's appointment I had been avoiding since my youngest was born * Why stabilizing is not a one-time thing and how I know when it is time to reset again * The signs my body gives me when things are piling up — shorter patience, worse sleep * Why "I don't have time to stabilize" is exactly why you keep ending up back at square one * How to start with 30 minutes (or even 2 minutes if that is all you have) The bottom line: You have to create capacity before you can create change. You cannot pour into something new when you are already at capacity. This is the least exciting step. But it is the one that makes everything else possible. episode The Problem with Being the Capable One cover

The Problem with Being the Capable One

I spent over a decade being the one everyone counted on. Climbed from temp scanner to VP of Operations by saying yes to every problem, every late night, every request. I wore "hardest working girl in the room" like a badge of honor. And it worked. Until it didn't. This is my Day 1. A re-introduction after stepping away for almost two years because I realized I couldn't keep coaching business in a silo when the real work was the whole person. In this episode I'm getting into: * Why being the capable one eventually becomes a trap - the better you perform, the more gets piled on * The moment I realized I was hanging on a Kobe quote just to get through my day * 4 questions I started asking myself before committing to anything - these changed everything for my boundaries * Why you don't need more effort, you need to upgrade your operating system You haven't lost your edge. You've outgrown the way you've been operating. That's not a character flaw. That's a logistics problem. Take the 4-minute Growth Phase Quiz → mamatransform.com/quiz [mamatransform.com/quiz]
