Throughout time, there have been many individuals whose spirit has separated from their body. They have been escorted into higher realms during their ‘near death experiences.’ From these experiences and the words of the prophets, we can perceive of what awaits us, when we die. Approaching the Throne of God Ep. 136

God wants you to ask Him for blessings in your life. The Lord stands at the door and is knocking on the entrance of your soul. Do you have ears to hear? You can have confidence as you approach the Lord and ask for those blessings in your life that you truly need. The Lord knows your needs before you ask, but it is essential that we humble ourselves and ask Him for the blessings of our lives. God is not a cosmic vending machine that doles out earned benefits. He is a Loving Father in Heaven who watches you in your times now, in the future of time and into Eternity. God Loves You Ask Him

The New Jerusalem Ep. 135

As the Saints battled to hold their ground in Jackson County during the 1830s, many miracles took place. The Saints believed that they were founding the New Jerusalem in Jackson County Missouri. Joseph Smith received multiple revelations specifically identifying that area as the location for the headquarters of Christ’s church during the millennium. Many leaders of the church were sent to Jackson County to buy land and prepare for this eventuality. But this was not to be in their day. Mobs and state militia drove the Saints from Jackson County. Many have said that the Saints would one day walk back to Jackson County. However we travel, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is again quietly preparing to usher in the Lord’s glorious return in Jackson County.

Best men that ever lived Ep. 134

After the martyrdom of Joseph and Hyrum Smith, Newell Knight described them as two of the best men that had ever lived. They were his friends, and he had known them since Joseph was a teenager. Newell Knight had many first in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a firsthand-eye witness of many pivotal and important events that took place in the first 25 years of the church. He witnessed the church grow from a membership of 6 to over 34,000 members, before he passed away while he led the first group of Saints fleeing from Nauvoo. This episode gives his refreshing personal description as he watched Joseph develop from the boy that worked in his father’s yard into the Prophet of God that opened this last dispensation.

Special Witnesses of Jesus Christ Ep. 133

The prophet, Joseph Smith was given the keys of this dispensation by Jesus Christ. His transformation had begun years earlier, as he was administered to by angels. His heavenly communions directed his progress until he had true charity for all. This episode tells of Joseph’s compassion before his death and his continued guidance to church leaders after his martyrdom. Hail to the man who communed with Jehovah. GOD LOVES YOU ASK HIM
