The Twenties Generation - Episode 3: Time Out!

We're back from our hiatus - thanks for staying with us! In our latest episode: can an idealist work in private equity? We speak to Barry Thrasher about navigating the world of finance as a young professional, and how his time off helped him make sense of it all. Tune in for a candid chat on finance, inequality, burnout, and why a YOLO trip could be a gamechanger for your career. About our speaker Barry Thrasher is a native of Jakarta, Indonesia, and is currently based in San Francisco working in private equity. He has worked previously at the Warburg Pincus joint venture NWP Retail, and startups Ruangguru.com and Virgo App. He was also the co-founder of Anders Collective, a brand consultant for the real estate, healthtech and F&B sectors in Southeast Asia. He's travelled extensively and is a huge advocate of time off.

The Twenties Generation - Episode 1: Strawberry Generation

For our pilot episode, we’re excited to feature Luk and Val from the band Strawberry Generation! An indie pop band born out of Brown University, Strawberry Generation has been praised for their sweet vocals and lush arrangements that bring to mind nostalgic memories of youth. The band has crossed the Atlantic performing everywhere from Derbyshire to Providence, and just premiered their debut album ‘Afloat’ this past February. We chat with Luk and Val about the band, their lives after graduation, and the journey into their twenties. You can download our episode here, or on our Spotify @thetwentiesgeneration. Check out ‘Afloat’ at the link below, and follow Strawberry Generation on Facebook (@strawberrygenerationband), Twitter (@strawbbG) and Instagram (@strawberrygenerationband) today! http://hyperurl.co/strawbG-afloat?fbclid=IwAR17oSrC-T6AS-OxVUWnJgH9hDbaYdSLUZGhpb0OYYrHo7zx3PkmOUaxcto
