ALIVE SOUL
Have you ever skipped a workout because you couldn’t do the full workout? Put off a goal because you couldn’t do it perfectly? Or abandoned a habit after missing a few days? Many of us fall into the trap of all-or-nothing thinking—the belief that if something can’t be done perfectly, it isn’t worth doing at all. In this episode, I reflect on a lesson I learned while recovering from a neck injury. When running and cycling became difficult, I found myself doing less and less until I realized I was waiting for ideal conditions before taking action. A simple shift in mindset—and a few walks each week—reminded me that progress doesn’t have to be perfect to count. We talk about perfectionism, consistency, adapting when life doesn’t go according to plan, and why small actions often matter more than we realize. Because most of life isn’t lived under perfect conditions. And sometimes the difference between staying stuck and moving forward is simply being willing to do the smaller version. The shorter walk. The shorter workout. The imperfect step. Sometimes the goal isn’t perfection. Sometimes the goal is simply to stay connected and keep moving forward. 🎙️ If this episode resonates with you, share it with someone who might need the reminder. We all grow better when we do it together.
