23: Cycle Musings - Ovulation Pain

In this solo episode Sarah chats about a her experience with ovulation pain and how she learned a new deeper layer of cyclical living that gave her a lightbulb moment of how to reflect on what may have caused such a painful ovulation. She shares the process of folliculogenesis (the maturation of the follicle in the ovaries which then leads to the release of an egg at ovulation. She also shares a bit of her insight into release rituals to encourage her bleed to start. 22: Samhain

This is the final sabbat episode for this wheel of the year before we complete the wheel with the next winter solstice! This sabbat is Samhain (sah-win), which commercially has become Halloween. It's a time of the final harvest and really beginning to turn inward with deep reflection and slowing down before we surrender to the void (the space between Samhain and Yule). It's also a time where the veil to the spirit world is at its thinnest, so we talk about ancestor work and connecting with your intuition. Sarah shares an experience of moving through a panic attack and what her nervous system did. Mal shares her body's natural reaction to a stressful time and allowing it to happen.
