The first job took the newly wed Francine to move to a new city and a new country, away from her family but surrounded by a lot of supportive fellow friends from McGill. Then when she moved back to Canada after 5 years, she was the only remote employee in the group (way before Covid made remote work acceptable) and it was also when she was expecting her first baby.
