Critters Series Pitch a Sequel

There's no series we feel more responsibility to pitch well for than the Critters series because they took their job so seriously as each new movie onboarded onto the series and you'll have to judge if we've done the movies justice! You'll hear which of us or if both of us pick up right where Critters 4 ends, which of us is going for a Planet of the Apes vibe (that shouldn't be hard), and which of us circles back to the beginning of Critters by including the prison planet from the original film. We're going to where several sequels have gone before, to outer space to end a series, or end a series for now, as we discuss the 1992 sequel, Critters 4. You'll hear why we know this isn't a good movie but has it's charms and is fun to watch, a blow by blow account of how this movie feeds off of other films and series in unexpected ways, and a discussion about how it's okay to completely change a character but we'd just prefer to know why. We're hitting the road and heading home so we can head to the microphones to discuss the 1991 sequel, Critters 3. You'll hear how we believe Leonardo DiCaprio to be fully formed as an actor, not to mention this movie being a record of the last time Leo was interested in someone his own age, more conversations about how this film and the series manages to get continuity right while still moving on to say, the big city, and how the movie manages to weave in it's legacy character in wise ways, especially considering he was filming the next movie at the same time. Critters 2: The Main Course

We're hatching our commentary for a new series and are hoping you'll mop up our green ooze of comments for the 1988 sequel, Critters 2: The Main Course. You'll hear what we think of the blending of horror and comedy that we believe makes this film such a fun watch, how much we like the recognizable actors who are giving it their all across the board, and how impressed we are by the way in which this movie and the series chooses to treat continuity as though it's not the hardest thing in the world to achieve. We're finally able to talk about the Critters now that we've realized that the Ghoulies aren't what we thought they were, so now we're ranking  and declaring for the Critters series.
