Episode why heavy + crampy cycles, endo, PMOS, and infertility aren't "normal" and how you can begin to heal Cover

why heavy + crampy cycles, endo, PMOS, and infertility aren't "normal" and how you can begin to heal

you know how i feel by now - your body is capable of healing and I'm tired of people thinking that debilitating cycles, extremely heavy flows, and hysterectomies are "the normal" while you may have been told that those terrible pains were your forever and normal - they don't have to be. (and perhaps you do need conventional intervention - but you can partner that alongside nutrition and lifestyle for more ease) often times hormone imbalances are the result of not enough building blocks or not enough nutrients, stress, inflammation, endocrine disruptors, and insulin/metabolic dysregulation. (there is certainly a genetic component -but as the quote goes "genetics loads the gun and lifestyle pulls the trigger") -hormones aren't the bad guys, but a way of telling your body that something is off. your body is speaking to you and asking for you to listen. -usually when we give the body what it needs and work on the foundations (movement, nourishment, sleep and stress) the body starts to heal - it's not about it being "perfect" but taking steps back towards healings. and yes while endo, PMOS, infertility, and excess estrogen are different diagnosis - they have similar foundations you can begin to work on. once you have worked the foundation steps, we get to come in with some more specific herbs, labs, or nutrients. listen in to this weeks episode about walking your body home to health so you can feel more balanced, have more peace, and live the life of good energy you desire.

Episode how one farm is closing the healthy food gap in their community...and how you can do big things too. Cover

how one farm is closing the healthy food gap in their community...and how you can do big things too.

my favorite episode i have recorded to date - so you know that is good stuff. I sat down with Rich Larochelle of the Rappahannock Education Farm to discuss how one farm is trying to close the gap on food scarcity in their community. It's not a secret that certain communities and populations have a harder time accessing healthy foods, whether that be lack of funding, access, availability, the means to prepare fresh foods, or lack of education. but it's also not a secret that health = wealth, that nutrition allows folks to heal, feel good, prevent illness, stay alert in school, have energy, show up in life. The Rappahannock Education Farm is on a mission in Fredericksburg to grow over 100,000lbs of fresh produce and close that food insecurity gap; to get in the hands of community members FOR FREE! And they are doing it. This episode highlights that when we are walking in our life's purpose, show up together in our unique gifts, work to support not just ourselves but others that anything can happen. Trust. Faith. So if you have something BIG on your heart - a desire to do something bigger than yourself, to leave an impact in your lifetime, support your community, it's possible for you. You have a gift. You are here for a reason. Highest gratitude to Rich, if you know him, you know how truly special of a human he is. Gratitude to the farm for all they provide. Gratitude to God for bringing us together as humans to support one another and walk each other home To Donate or Volunteer : https://www.rappahannockfarm.org/ [https://www.rappahannockfarm.org/] Enjoy!
